Featured Craft for Kids: Paper Snowflakes

Our featured craft this week comes from Mom Vs. The Boys and is just so incredibly appropriate for the weather I’m experiencing this week! The title of the post is Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow and features adorable paper snowflakes. As it turns out, I have no choice but to let it snow, because snow it will despite my wishes otherwise.

Featured Craft for Kids: Paper Snowflakes

Yesterday morning, I woke up and peeked out the window as I always do before getting my son up for the day. It isn’t uncommon to see a bit of snow dusting, just enough that I need to wipe off the car. I like to know what to expect for the morning. Imagine my surprise when I woke up to at least two inches of snow with more falling! The weatherman totally dropped the ball on that one, as we had no idea snow was coming. Guess what? Apparently there is more on the way! All week long! While I’m stuck inside, this cute Paper Snowflakes craft for kids will help keep up busy!

My favorite thing about this featured craft for kids is that it reminds me of the paper snowflakes I used to make when I was little, except a whole lot more colorful! I love the effect of the colors running into each other, creating almost a marbled, tie-dye effect. These adorable snowflakes are easy enough for even toddlers to help out with. You’ll have to help with the cutting, but Mom vs. the Boys even gives you a “cheat” method to making the coloring part easier for little ones. Check it out!
