If you love games that allow you to build and plant and create things, then you will love Big Fish Games Sunken Secrets. I admit, I am usually not into sim games like this one, but Sunken Secrets has changed my mind!
Sunken Secrets Game Review: Breaking Curses Has Never Been So Fun!
Set on an island in the ocean, you are helping to rebuild the village. Buildings have been overgrown with coral and seaweed and are falling down due to the curse. The islanders need your help with planting crops and harvesting them for food and trade.
Most of the islanders have been cursed and turned into sea creatures! With your help, they can become human again and help around the island. In the mine, you must gather boulders and rock to rebuild the falling-down structures. They look beautiful when you are done!
Some of the islanders have a sense of humor. Louisa, for example, suggests that you use the cauldron to make potatoes to feed the hungry islanders. She says she would love to help, but she just did her nails. When you are mining to repair buildings, you can ask for help, and James offers a hand and quips ‘I just washed it too’. Louisa tells you to thank him ‘you weren’t raised in a barn’.
Sunken Secrets is a game that I can play with my daughter and we can help the islanders rebuild together. We can farm, gather magic and help to uncurse the island. You can connect with your friends on Facebook and ask for things you need and trade.
It is fun to design your own little magical island, complete with dolphin water fountains and gardens to name a few. Decursing the coral-covered walls and making them look beautiful again, helps to make the island look cleaned up.
Don’t forget about under the water! There are creatures undersea that need your help too! The curse doesn’t end above sea level. Make the ocean floor pretty and livable again for ocean life!
I had a lot of fun rebuilding and decursing the island in Sunken Secrets! I find myself logging in to clean up my little island and work on decursing it when I have a free minute.
