Dec. 1

7:00 a.m. — The Preacher’s Wife- 1996 Christmas romantic comedy-drama family movie starring Denzel Washington, Whitney Houston and Courtney B. Vance. Reverend Biggs prays for help with things that are going wrong in his life. When help comes in the form of an angel, more chaos ensues.

11:00 a.m. — Disney’s A Christmas Carol- 2009 3D computer animated motion-capture holiday fantasy comedy-drama movie. The movie stars Jim Carrey, who plays several roles including Scrooge and the three ghosts who visit him. Ebenezer Scrooge is a grumpy old man who is transformed to a kinder man after he is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.

1:00 p.m. — Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas- 1999 animated Christmas movie is narrated by Kelsey Grammar. Mickey and his friends tell three stories: Donald Duck Stuck on Christmas, A Very Goofy Christmas and Mickey and Minnie’s The Gift of the Magic.

2:30 p.m. — The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus- 1985 Christmas television special that is based on stop-motion animation. At the Great AK Council, the forest starts to tell the story of Santa Claus, reasoning why he should be made immortal.

3:30 p.m. — Frosty’s Winter Wonderland- 1976 animated Christmas television special, a sequel to the 1969 television special Frosty the Snowman. When Frosty seems lonely, the kids build him a snowman wife. But will Jack Frost allow happiness?

4:00 p.m. — Rudolph and Frosty’s Christmas in July- 1979 stop-animation crossover television film that combines Frosty the Snowman with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. When Rudolph notices his red nose getting dim, Santa Claus must reveal why he had a glowing nose in the first place.

6:00 p.m. — The Year Without a Santa Claus- 1974 stop-motion animated television special. When Saint Nick takes the year off, it is up to two elves to save Christmas.

7:00 p.m. — The Polar Express- 2004 computer animated musical fantasy movie starring Tom Hanks, who voices several roles including the Hero Boy, the Hero Boy’s dad, the conductor, the hobo, Santa Claus and the narrator. A young boy who doubts Christmas exists takes a train ride to the North Pole.

9:00 p.m. — Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas- 2000 family comedy Christmas movie starring Jim Carrey, Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Baranski, Bill Irwin, Molly Shannon and Taylor Momsen. The Grinch wants to ruin Christmas for the residents of Whoville until he meets one of the residents, young Cindy Lou.

12:00 a.m. — The Year Without a Santa Claus

1:00 a.m. — Rudolph’s Shiny New Year- 1976 stop-motion animated sequel movie to the 1964 television special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Rudolph is on a mission to find Baby New Year before midnight New Year’s Eve.

Dec. 2

7:00 a.m. — The Christmas Shoes- 2002 made-for-TV-movie starring Rob Lowe and Kimberly Williams. It is the first in a trilogy: 2005 The Christmas Blessing and 2009 The Christmas Hope. A young boy attempts to get Christmas shoes for his dying mom while an attorney is coping with his impending divorce.

9:00 a.m. — Frosty’s Winter Wonderland

11:00 a.m. — Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas

12:30 p.m. — A Miser Brothers Christmas- 2008 stop-motion spin-off of 1974 television special The Year Without a Santa. The movie voices Mickey Rooney and George S. Irving. The Miser Brothers Snow and Heat learn the real meaning of family while saving Christmas.

1:30 p.m. — Jack Frost- 1998 Christmas comedy-fantasy drama movie starring Michael Keaton and Kelly Preston. When a father, who never keeps his promises to his son dies in a car accident, he returns as a snowman a year later. Now, he has the chance to make things right with his son.

2:30 p.m. — Rudolph’s Shiny New Year

3:30 p.m. — Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory- 1971 musical fantasy movie that stars Gene Wilder, Jack Albertson, and Peter Ostrum. When a young boy gets a golden ticket to visit the famous chocolate factory, he learns he has won much more than a plant tour.

6:00 p.m. — Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas

8:45 p.m. — The Santa Clause- 1994 Christmas fantasy family comedy-drama movie that stars Tim Allen and Eric Lloyd. It is the first in a trilogy: 2002 The Santa Clause 2: The Mrs. Clause and 2006 The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. A dad accidentally kills Santa Claus one Christmas Eve and finds himself taking his place.

12:00 a.m. — Snow- 2004 Christmas themed movie starring Tom Cavanagh and Ashley Williams. With only three days left until Christmas Day, a young man is on a mission to rescue a zoo reindeer.

Dec. 3

7:00 a.m. — Christmas in Boston- 2005 Christmas television movie starring Marla Sokoloff and Patrick J. Adams. Gina and Seth have been pen pals for 13 years and finally have a chance to meet in person. The problem is they have been sending each other pictures of their cuter friends.

9:00 a.m. — Mickey’s Christmas Carol- 1983 animated fantasy short movie. The classic Disney characters retell the 1843 story of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.

11:00 a.m. — Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory

1:45 p.m. — I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus- 2001 Christmas movie based on the 1952 song of the same name and stars Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Connie Sellecca and Corbin Bernsen. When a young boy sees his mom kissing Santa Claus, he goes on a mission to prank him, thinking he wants to take his dad’s place.

4:00 p.m. — Jack Frost

6:00 p.m. — The Santa Clause

8:15 p.m. — Fred Claus- 2007 Christmas comedy that stars Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti. Santa’s older brother, a bitter Fred, must move to the North Pole.

12:00 a.m. — Snow 2: Brain Freeze- 2008 Christmas television movie starring Tom Cavanagh and Ashley Williams. Sandy and Buddy, a reindeer, must save Christmas when Santa Claus develops amnesia.

Dec. 4

7:00 a.m. — Meet the Santa’s- 2005 Christmas movie starring Steve Guttenberg and Crystal Bernard. It is a sequel to the 2004 movie Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus. Nicholas Claus and Beth Sawtelle prepare for their Christmas Eve wedding.

9:00 a.m. — The First Christmas: The Story of the First Christmas Snow- 1975 Christmas television special that is narrated by Angela Lansbury. When a young, blind boy lands a part as an angel in a Christmas pageant, the snow that falls that night works a huge miracle.

4:00 p.m. — I’ll Be Home For Christmas- 1998 Christmas family comedy movie starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Jessica Biel, Gary Cole, and Adam LaVorgna. When a college student has troubles getting home for Christmas, he discovers what the true meaning of the holidays is.

6:00 p.m. — Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town- 1970 stop-motion television special that stars Fred Astaire, Mickey Rooney, Keenan Wynn and Paul Frees. A mailman tells the story of how Santa Claus came to be.

7:00 p.m. — Fred Claus

9:30 p.m. — Elf- 2003 Christmas comedy movie starring Will Ferrell, James Caan, Bob Newhart, Ed Asner and Zooey Deschanel. A man who was raised at the North Pole as an elf is sent to America to discover who he is.

11:50 p.m. — Prancer- 1989 Christmas family movie that stars Sam Elliott, Cloris Leachman, and Rebecca Harrell. When a young girl nurses an injured reindeer back to health, her holiday spirit inspires everyone around her.

7:00 a.m. — A Very Brady Christmas- 1988 made-for-television moved based on the hit TV show The Brady Bunch. It stars the original cast except for Susan Olsen. The Brady family deals with personal issues but spends a happy holiday together as a family.

9:00 a.m. — Home Alone 5: The Holiday Heist- 2012 comedy television movie starring Christian Martyn, Jodelle Ferland, Malcolm McDowell, Debi Mazar and Eddie Steeples. When the Baxter family moves to Maine from California, Finn, and his sister are home alone when it is targeted by three burglars.

12:00 p.m. — The Little Drummer Boy- 1968 Christmas stop-motion television special that is based on the 1941 song of the same name. A young orphan boy’s life is forever changed when he comes across three wise men headed to Bethlehem.

The movie stars Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Kiera Knightley, Bill Nighy, Rowan Atkinson and Martine McCutcheon.

9:30 p.m. — Toy Story 3- 2010 3D computer-animated comedy-drama movie. Woody, Buzz and the rest of the toys deal with an uncertain future when Andy gets ready to head to college.

  4. My goodness, that is a lot of movies to watch out for. Most of them are so favorite to me & my kids as well. Would be so fun & exciting to watch with family.

  9. I am most looking forward to the Santa Claus on Dec 2 but I really wish Bing Crosby’s WHite Christmas was on the list. Luckily for me I have that gem in my own movie collection
