Maddie is recording this song in the episode, but it is played throughout various scenes in the episode, including Rayna James bringing coffee to Deacon Claybourne and Scarlett O’Connor, who is visiting Beverly O’Connor in the hospital.

The song appears on the album titled The Music of Nashville: Season 4, Volume 2. Maddie performs this song at the showcase that was set up by Cash Gray, even though just a week before, Cash took out a restraining order against both Rayna and Maddie.
