Revenge Season 2 Quotes

Revenge is a television series that combines a soap opera, a psychological thriller, a mystery and a drama all in one show. It aired on ABC for 4 seasons, from September 21, 2011, to May 10, 2015. The series focuses on Amanda Clarke, who comes to the Hamptons under the alias Emily Thorne with the task of seeking revenge against those who have wronged her family. Revenge stars Emily Van Camp as Amanda Clarke/Emily Thorne. Here are some awesome quotes from season 2 of Revenge, which aired from September 30, 2012, to May 12, 2013.

Episode 1- Destiny

Emily Thorne, in an opening voiceover:

Emily- “To believe that a life is meant for a single purpose, one must also believe in a common fate. Father to daughter, brother to sister, mother to child. Blood ties can be as unyielding as they are eternal. But it is our bonds of choice that truly light the road we travel. Love versus hatred. Loyalty against betrayal. A person’s true destiny can only be revealed at the end of his journey… and the story I have to tell is far from over.”

Emily sees an old security camera tape that belongs to Victoria and realizes her mother is still alive. She also discovers that the Grayson family was involved in her mother’s disappearance and that the person who killed her father was married to her mother.

Episode 6- Illusion

The conversation between Victoria Grayson and Conrad Grayson:

Victoria- “And here I thought you were offering me a way out of this.”

Conrad- “Never.”

Episode 10- Power

A conversation between Daniel Grayson and Nolan Ross:

Daniel- “Nolan. I see you found my office.”

Nolan- “Isn’t this where I wait to get my Grayson Global ID badge?”

Daniel- “When I said I wanted to meet, I figured we’d get one on the books.”

Nolan- “Haven’t you heard? Books are obsolete.”

Episode 13- Union

Emily Thorne, in a closing voiceover:

Emily- “From the moment we’re born, we’re drawn to form a union with others. An abiding drive to connect, to love… to belong. In a perfect union, we find the strength we cannot find in ourselves. But the strength of the union cannot be known until it is tested.”

Episode 22- Truth Part 2

Conversation between Declan Porter and Charlotte Grayson:

Declan- “You’re gonna be a great mother.”

Charlotte- “Based on what? I have the worst role models in parental history.”

Charlotte is the daughter of David Clarke and Victoria Grayson. She discovers she is pregnant with Declan’s baby, but later suffers a miscarriage.
