Here’s What The Main Cast Of The Angry Birds Movie Has Appeared In

The Angry Birds movie cast is super talented, but it’s harder sometimes to know them by their voice alone! You may remember some of them from the little movies Frozen, Inside Out and Shrek The Third. The Angry Birds movie cast voice actors are not new to the world of movies at all! I bet you’ll recognize more than a few of these movies. I see one of my personal favs Maya Rudolph is on the list! Jason Sudeikis

Jason plays the role of Red, the leader of the bird flock. Jason began his movie career as the role of Tony Contiella in the 2007 movie The Ten. He has also appeared in the 2010 movie “The Bounty Hunter” as Stewart, 2011 “Hall Pass” as Fred Searing, the 2013 movie “Epic” as the voice of Bomba. You may also remember him from the 2013 “We’re the Millers” as David Clark.

Josh Gad

Josh plays the role of Chuck, the speedy yellow bird. Josh began his movie career as the role of Angel in the 2002 movie “Mary and Joe.” You may have spotted him in the 2010 “Marmaduke” as the voice of Bandana Dog, or you may remember him from a little movie in 2013 called “Frozen” as the voice of Olaf. Oh hi, Olaf! Josh was also in the 2013 “Jobs” as Steve Wozniak. You may have also seen him in 2015 in the movie “The Wedding Ringer” as Doug Harris.

Danny McBride

Danny plays the role of Bomb, the volatile black bird. Danny began his movie career as the role of Bust-Ass in the 2003 movie “All the Real Girls.” Since that time, he has appeared in the 2007 “The Heartbreak Kid” as Martin, the 2008 “Pineapple Express” as Red, the 2010 movie “Due Date” as Lonnie and the 2015 movie “Aloha” as Colonel Lacy.

Bill Hader

Bill plays the role of Leonard, the leader of the Bad Piggies. Bill began his movie career as the role of Mark in the 2006 movie “You, Me and Dupree.” Ahh, that movie was funny! Then he appeared in a memorable list of movies! He was in the 2007 movie “Knocked Up” as Brent, the 2009 “Ice Age:  Dawn of the Dinosaurs” as the voice of Gazelle, the 2013 “Turbo” as the voice of Guy Gagne and the 2015 movie “Inside Out” as the voice of Fear. Bill’s whole list here are all movies similar to The Angry Birds movie.

Maya Rudolph

Maya plays the role of Matilda, the white bird. Maya began her movie career as the role of a police officer in the 1997 movie “As Good As It Gets.” You may also remember her from SNL, she’s been BFF’s with the Tina Fey and Amy Pohler era, and was on the show from 2000 to 2015. Since then, she also appeared in the 2004 movie “50 First Dates” as Stacy, the 2007 movie “Shrek the Third” as the voice of Rapunzel. You also may have heard her voice in the 2011 movie “Zookeeper” as the voice of Mollie and the 2013 movie “Turbo” as the voice of Burn.

Peter Dinklage

Peter plays the role of The Mighty Eagle. Peter began his movie career as the role of Tito in the 1995 film “Living in Oblivion.” Since that time, he has appeared in the 2002 “Just a Kiss as Dink,” the 2006 movie “Penelope” as Lemon. You may have also seen him in the 2010 movie “Death at a Funeral” as Frank and heard his voice in the 2012 movie “Ice Age: Continental Drift” as the voice of Captain Gutt.

Keegan-Michael Key

Keegan-Michael plays the role of Judge Peckinpah. Keegan-Michael began his movie career as the role of J in the 1999 movie “Get the Hell Out of Hamtown.” Since that time, he has appeared in 2004 movie “Mr. 3000 as Reporter,” the 2008 movie “Role Models” as Duane, the 2012 movie “Wanderlust” as Marcy Flunkie . He was also the famous voice in the 2014 “The Lego Movie” as the voice of Frank the Foreman because everything is indeed awesome.
