So it is seriously all going down on this Teen Wolf Season 5 Episode 20 Recap of the finale. Everyone ends up dead, almost dead, missing or something else terrible happening to them. Seriously though, I should expect it now from the Teen Wolf finale, but after this ending, I just can’t even. Teen Wolf Season 5 Episode 20 Recap “Apotheosis” Season Finale
Well, the Teen Wold season five finale is here! We start our Teen Wolf Season 5 Episode 20 Recap “Apotheosis” with Parish in hellhound from running in the street with the Argents following trying to catch The Beast. Scott and Liam bring an alive Dread Doctor to the clinic to see Deaton. Tracy takes an injured Theo back to their hideout, and they make out but she stops, and Theo kills her to take her powers. Sebastian kills a man and steals his clothes and car. Malia is still trapped in Scott’s house with her mother, The Desert Wolf.
Scott, Stiles, Liam, and Deaton try and stop The Dread Doctor from leaving the clinic but can’t. Sebastian shows up and unmasks The Dread Doctor and finds out that it is his old friend Marcel who tells him that the Argents have the weapon that can kill him. The Argents and Parish lose The Beasts scent and decide to bring him to them.
At the clinic, they all discuss that Sebastian still has a part of Mason still in him and that Lydia is the only one who can save him. Sebastian goes to the Sheriff’s station looking for the Argents and ends up attacking everyone including Lydia and kidnaps Hayden. The Sheriff brings Lydia to the hospital and Stiles goes to see her, but she can barely talk. The Desert Wolf tells Malia that she never wanted her and that she was a parasite while Braden tries to shoot her.
Hayden brings Sebastian to Theo’s hideout and tries to paralyze him with kanima venom, but her hurts her instead. Theo betrays Deucalion by electrocuting him. Scott listens to Kira’s voicemail and comes up with a plan, Melissa Scott’s mom gives Lydia a shot that will help her speak. Stiles leaves to get Malia but when he shows up at Scott’s house Malia saves him from her mother. Scott, Lydia, and Liam are in the tunnels, and Theo shows up, paralyzes Scott and throws Lydia down a vent to a trapped room.
Malia fights her mother and saves Stiles but gets shot several times. Braden ends up knocking The Desert Wolf out. Deucalion helps Scott and Liam and break Theo’s neck, but Geared shoots Deucalion. Argent steals the spear and gives it to Scott. Lydia is still trapped in the room until Kira shows up and gets her out. Liam and Scott confront Sebastian and fight him, but Sebastian doesn’t kill Scott because he sees Alison in Scott’s head who looked just like his sister.

Lydia shows up and screams Mason’s name to free Mason. Parish shows up and holds down The Beast so Scott can stab and kill him. The episode ends with Hayden not being able to heal, so Scott bites her, and she turns into a werewolf. Stiles tells his father he wants to be in law enforcement. Kira tells Scott goodbye for now and leaves with the Skinwalkers. This leaves Scott, Stiles, and Lydia, the original three pack members, in the library.

I watched the very first season a few years ago. It looks like a lot has changed since then. I dont even know why I stopped watching it. It is nice that you have all the information needed to catch up all in one place. Might have to pick it up again.
One person in our household loves this show – our teen daughter! She keeps saying the actors are all cute. I have yet to watch it. It’s been awhile since I have seen these kinds of teen drama/action shows, but Teen Wolf seems really cool!
